Dog walkers notes: “Oscar is very keen to get out of the kennels - he is a very social dog and like most Beagles likes to follow a scent. He will calm down on his walk after 5-10 mins and I have found it easier to walk him on a longer lead so that he can follow scents. He is a responsive dog who will follow commands and does listen to you (but perhaps not in the initial excitement of getting out of the kennel). He does bark at some dogs but not aggressively. If you like walking, Oscar is a great a dog for you!” NOTE: Beagles can be difficult to train, are stubborn and wilful. Please research the breed carefully before you consider adopting a Beagle.
